Ashley Bonnette DVM

Dr. Ashley Bonnette, a Worcester, Massachusetts native, graduated from The University of New Hampshire magna cum laude with a bachelors degree in Animal Science in 2019. From there she moved to Knoxville, Tennessee, where she graduated from The University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine summa cum laude in 2023. During her time at UT she took a special interest in equine dentistry; completing numerous elective courses and clinical rotations oriented around advanced equine dentistry and extraction techniques. 

From 2023-2024 Dr. Bonnette completed an equine ambulatory/general practice internship with Southern Equine Service in Aiken, South Carolina. From there she stayed on in Aiken with Mid-Atlantic Equine Dentistry as an associate veterinarian until the spring of 2026, where she practiced solely equine dentistry. Ultimately, desire to be closer to friends and family brought Dr. Bonnette back up to the New England area where she started with NEVDS in June of 2026.

Growing up, Dr. Bonnette was an avid equestrian, spending years in show rings across New England; competing in mainly hunters and equitation over fences with her two horses Nasa, and Vergil. Today she still enjoys riding horses, as well as hiking with her dog Bix, fishing, and spending time with friends and family.
